National Account Manager, UK Wide - £29,000 - 32,000 + 30% bonus potential + company car
Our client, a globally recognised business with a heritage dating back 80 years are recruiting for a National Account Manager to work on one of their leading, global brands. The brand holds a strong position specifically in the 'tool space' including: Manual, Electric and Pneumatic.
As the National Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and developing UK B2B business via National Accounts, Wholesale Accounts and smaller independent trade businesses. The role is spilt as follows: 50% Account Management, 30% Growing Existing Business & 20% New Business.
This role is 100% field based, it requires excellent relationship building skills and the ability to network across all levels. Our client is comfortable with home working therefore location is very flexible. The role comes with 25% overnight stays, mainly UK based with occasional visits to their head office in Sweden.
- Meet individual monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Work with direct accounts, National accounts and Wholesales accounts within your territory.
Identify prospective clients using a variety of online and offline resources.
- Report all on-going client contact and sales activity.
New business development.
- Negotiate pricing with both current and new customers on an annual basis.
- Communicate and implement marketing and promotional plans to your customer base.
- Catalogue selection and products portfolio development.
- Liaise and train wholesale and local customers on our products.
- Sales analysis and gap analysis
Target driven with Sales experience within the building or construction industry would be beneficial.
Achieve profitable sales growth, month after month.
Comfortable working within a targeted field sales environment.
Have an aptitude for building relationships.
First-rate communication and presentation skills with the ability to sell to the most desirable of businesses in your territory at all decision-making levels.
Excellent listening skills and be able to gain trust and confidence of customers.
