Business Development Executive, St. Albans, Competitive Salary
Our client, a well-established insurance firm who enjoy an excellent reputation, are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their team in St. Albans.
This is a pure cold-calling role but you will be provided with qualified leads so it is therefore essential that you have a confident telephone manner.
In order to be successful, you must have previous experience working within Commercial Insurance Sales, but extensive training will be provided by a highly knowledgeable team.
To be considered for this role, you must be a driver with access to your own car.
- Following up leads given in order to create new business opportunities
- Building your own pipeline of business insurance leads
- As experience is gained, you will be expected to generate your own leads through networking and social media
To consistently meet and exceed targets set in various aspects of the business
- Work closely with the internal database, to stay up to date with various prospects
- Go out and visit prospected companies that have been identified as new business opportunities
- Previous experience in Commercial Insurance Sales
- Professional qualifications in insurance/financial services is desirable
- Highly presentable, with the ability to provide extremely high levels of customer service
- Strong desire to go out and chase new business leads
